The School of Public Affairs has dedicated academic advisors for our graduate students. So for example, I work with the international students in the Master of Public Administration, the Master of Public Policy. And these dedicated advisors provide the personalized attention that is something that makes us unique. One of the things I like about what we do in advising is we're a one stop shop, really for the students. So rather than having them need to reach out to everybody, or all over campus, I'll do that footwork for them so I can really be their person of contact at the university. Advisors in the School of Public Affairs help students to make that connection between where they want to be when they graduate and what they're doing in that program. So really being able to choose courses, so that they can arm themselves with skills that they can use in their future career. The School of Public Affairs provides quite comprehensive services for graduate students in attaining their career goals. I'm backed up by a team of roughly about 20 people who do these various special events like the the alumni networking receptions, the job fairs, employer information sessions, numerous career skills workshops, some of which I do, but also some of my colleagues do. I maintain a private Twitter account that tweets 300 jobs and internships per month that are relevant to people in the School of Public Affairs. This is a really comprehensive operation and kind of a full court press that we put on NAU, and especially for graduate students in School of Public Affairs.
